Ipswich Town winger Jaden Philogene has been linked with a move away from the club. Italian transfer expert Nicolo Schira has reported that Serie A side Bologna have shown interest in the former Hull City and Aston Villa man. The 24-year-old had an excellent campaign in the Championship for Town, notching 12 goals and two assists in 35 games. The Blues went on to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking, with manager Kieran McKenna departing just under a fortnight ago. Turkish club Besiktas have also been credited with interest in Philogene, whose contract runs until the summer of 2029. It wouldn't be a huge surprise if other top-level clubs are interested in Philogene off the back of last season, but given that Town paid north of £20m to sign him around 18 months ago, it's going to take a significant fee to move him away from Portman Road. Perhaps Bologna are anticipating that their current starting left winger - former Norwich City man Jon Rowe - could be on the move this summer. If they get a significant fee for him, maybe the stars could align for a significant offer that Ipswich would consider. Philogene will be key for Ipswich Town as they try to take on the Premier League once again next season.
