With Ipswich Town, Scherhant would likely only be fighting for survival, while Freiburg is expected to be in contention for European qualification again, having scored 80 goals and conceded 47 in the 2025 season, resulting in a +33 goal difference. As the transfer window remains open, Ipswich Town will be looking to finalize their squad for the upcoming season, with the club currently 11 points behind leaders Coventry in the Championship standings.
