Turner, who has been at Town since the age of seven, was involved in the first team's pre-season training camp in La Manga and featured in the friendly against Spanish side FC Cartagena. He now links up with the fifth-tier outfit, who have Jake Hyde and Craig Ross as interim managers after the shock departure of head coach Jermaine Defoe last month.
Woking director of football Jody Brown added: “We’d always hoped to bring Steven back after he impressed back in April. Of course, that was dependent on Ipswich Town. “He’s spent pre-season with their first team, but the dialogue never stopped. We are really pleased to have him here for the season.”
