Ipswich Town have unveiled their new kits for the 2026/27 Premier League season. The home shirt boasts a diamond emboss graphic based on the structure between the floodlights on the Sir Bobby Robson and Sir Alf Ramsey stands.
What's new in the kits?
The club said: "The new home shirt takes inspiration from the atmospheric evening games under the Portman Road lights, with an emboss graphic representing the pattern created by the structure between the floodlights on both the Sir Bobby Robson and Sir Alf Ramsey Stands running throughout the shirt."
The away shirt is a modern interpretation of Town’s iconic 1996-98 away kit, with a fresh take on the cream design worn by the team under George Burley during this period.
Why it matters for Ipswich Town
The cream base is broken up with red and black horizontal lines running through the entire front of shirt. The club crest colourway from the original shirt has been recreated as a modern woven application both on the front of shirt and accompanying black shorts. And with the team currently 2nd in Championship, 84 pts, 23W-15D-8L from 46 games, recent form WDDWD, these new kits are a great way to boost morale.
What comes next?
The new kits are available to buy now, priced at £65 for adults and £49 for juniors and infants. Representatives from around 40 of the clubs who have already taken up the offer of the grant were in attendance at Portman Road to take part in the launch, alongside first-team players from Town’s men’s and women’s teams. With 80 goals scored and 47 conceded, Ipswich Town are pushing for promotion, and these new kits are a great way to show support for the team. The club has used the slogan 'Us and Our People' to promote the launch - from skipper Dara O'Shea's now-famous pre-derby day rallying cry - and as part of that ethos have made donation to support grassroots football across the county.
